Teenage crime is a very important problem that the united states is facing these days. It erodes our country economically and morally. The government, along with parents are still trying to come up with a solution to this international problem. Rising aggression, especially among teenagers is very harmful to the society as a whole, and their reasons behind this are more compound and more complex then we could ever imagine. The majority of Crimes committed by teenagers includes gang violence, theft, assault and even murder. The most important factors that trigger these teens to commit these acts are their family life, media, and the collapse of their community. Family conditions proved to be a direct effect on a teenager s behavior. Positive family environments provide a strong base for the development of a child. From the very first years, a child s development and the way they act are influenced by the environment they encounter. Whenever a teenager isn t getting the right support needed, they often turn to acts of violence to get their parents attention or let out their aggression from their inner feelings. living in a dysfunctional household where everything is unstable and the family lives a transient lifestyle, they often move around and aren t stable enough to stay in one place.
